We are advised to stay at home to curb the spread of COVID19, but we can still go out. I have been for a walk a few times to get some fresh air and exercise. The number of people out on the streets have reduced significantly. I thought that because there were less people about, it would be quite pleasant but I found myself constantly checking if I was too close to other people, and if they were walking towards me, is the path wide enough, etc. In Australia, the recommended distance to stay away from others is 1.5 meters.
Anyway, I saw this group of 3 having a good chat by the beach. They seemed to see having a good conversation while keeping their distances. However, the guy walking towards them might receive sprays of saliva from left and right when he crossed them 🤭. I hope they did not give him anything.
If I were him, I’d change my path. What would you do?
