Postcard sized

My work is small – about A4 is what I have been using on recently. But I painted 3 postcard sized pieces recently, which is not usual (unless I am sending a watercolour postcard to my Mom overseas).

I quite enjoy painting small – it’s quicker of course. And especially handy when subjects are far away and details are not visible. It is also a good  way to force myself to focus on the big areas.

These 3 pieces were painted in Heyfield in Gippsland recently, on my walk around the wetlands.
