Beijing sketches

One thing I enjoy about drawing in sketchbooks is the ability to record moments, which can be reflected upon later. Looking at these done in Beijing 2 years ago made me realise how much my art making has changed – no necessary for better or worse. It’s just a little different now.

I stumbled upon this while looking over an old computer this morning. I cannot remember when I drew it – probably while having a  meal with chopsticks.

After the cold, spring brought beautiful magnolia. Blooming magnolias – such pretty flowers drawn over pieces of printed papers which were stuck on my sketchbook..

A single magnolia flower – a slightly different approach.
